Facilities
Friendship Inn is a four-bedroom home with common areas on the first floor. Guests can cozy up in an easy chair to read a book, watch television in the spacious living room, or play a hand of cards with other guests in the dining room. The kitchen offers all the conveniences of home where one may cook a full dinner or catch a snack.
Upstairs, our guests may stay in one of four comfortable guest rooms:
Chip’s Room (named after Chip Gabel) is furnished with a twin daybed and a twin trundle.
Ann’s Room accommodates two people with its queen-sized bed.
Theissen’s Room is the largest bedroom at Friendship Inn, with one twin bed and one queen bed.
The Lee Room (named after Joan and Jim Lee) accommodates up to two people with its double bed.
Sharing the same hallway as the bedrooms is a full bathroom and half bath. Another half bath is off the kitchen on the first floor.
Volunteers tend the Peace Garden in Friendship Inn’s back yard. During the growing season, guests find comfort and tranquility among beautiful blossoms.
